Looking for Feng Shui gifts that can help your friends, family and co-workers attract money, health, a better job and happiness? You are in luck! Here are 9 gift ideas to get your started.
#1 Protect a House from Negative Outside Energy
I have six of these Feng Shui mirrors. They are good for keeping negative outside energy – outside. They are especially good if you know someone who has unsavory neighbors or other outside energy they don’t particularly like. You can gift them one mirror and have them point it towards any offensive outside energy. If they live in an apartment they can point it towards a neighbor they don’t love, a noise they don’t like, etc.
They can also do, what I do, which is have one mirror point towards all four directions in our house (for a total of four mirrors). Further, one mirror can be placed upstairs pointing towards the roof (don’t want any bad roof energy) and another on our lower floor or in the basement that points downward (don’t want any sewer backups). The mirror portion should face towards the wall, the ceiling and/or the floor. It is working to “push away” bad energy. It doesn’t have to be seen to work, so feel free to stash to tell them to stash their Feng Shui mirror in a cupboard, in a drawer, behind a piece of furniture, etc.
#2 Protect a Home, Bring Calm and Attract Prosperity
Fu Dogs are a Feng Shui symbol of wealth and social standing. Thousands of years ago and still today they are placed in front of palaces, homes of the wealthy and government buildings. Tell the person you give them to that they should be placed inside the home facing the main door of their home. (The door the architect of the home would consider the front door.)
#3 Help Improve Someone’s Overall Good Health
Crystals are used in many ways in Feng Shui. One of the more common methods is to hang a crystal above a bed. This helps in overall good health, restful sleep and life peacefulness.
#4 Help Their Wishes Come True
Using a silver wish box is probably the most popular Feng Shui tip. A home can have one or more wish boxes. There can be a wish box for every person, one for the entire family, for a couple or for a specific goal (health, career, school, etc.) In this box wishes should be written as if they already occurred. For example, “I am so proud of myself for losing 20 pounds!” or “I am extremely grateful for the 20% raise I got this year.” or “Thank you for the good health of everyone in my family.”
Put your wish box in the Helpful People and Travel corner of the room used the most, in the office (if they are work specific wishes), where work outs happen in your home or in your Kitchen if they are health wishes, in the bedroom of a child if they are specific to the kiddo’s wishes, etc.
To locate the Helpful People and Travel corner of a room, go to the doorway of the room. If there are multiple doorways, use the doorway most likely used if entering the room from the front door. Face into the room. Look at the nearest right corner. This is the Helpful People & Travel corner. The wish box should be placed here.
#5 Attract Unexpected Money with a Piggy Bank or Change Bowl
I have never seen this not work (and in my experience, it works very quickly). If you have a friend or loved one who wants to attract money into their lives (which is everyone, right?), buy them a piggy bank or a change bowl and have them fill it to the extent possible and put it in the farthest left corner of the room they use the most.
To locate this corner, have them stand in the doorway of the room they want to put it and face into the room. The farthest left corner from them is the Money corner. To double down on this effort, have them put a change bowl, a piggy bank or even loose change in that same corner more or all rooms in their home.
#6 Help Someone Get Deserved Recognition, Ward Off Icky Neighbors or Prevent Unpleasant Sounds
If you have someone in your life who isn’t getting the recognition they deserve, has annoying neighbors and/or has to endure unpleasant noises, a wind chime is the perfect gift for them!
If they struggle with getting the recognition they earned, have them place the wind chime near the front door of their home. (The door the architect of the home would consider the Front Door.) If they have not-so-amazing neighbors and/or unpleasant noises on one or more sides of their home – they should put a wind chime between their house and each unpleasant noise (or neighbor).
#7 Enliven the Energy of A Home with Round Leafed Succulent Plants
Plants (or living objects) are one of the nine traditional cures in Feng Shui. They are perfect for enlivening any area of the home or a particular area of the Bagua. Succulents are both relatively inexpensive and adorable.
It is best to buy succulents that are growing upwards versus drooping downward. (You don’t want any droopy, saggy energy.) Also, avoid getting a cactus or a succulent with sharp edges. (You want the energy around them to be soft and not prickly.)
HOWEVER, if you want this person to be recognized for everything they do and to be respected, a spiky plant and/or cactus is a great addition to the Fame and Reputation area of any room. To locate the Fame and Reputation area, go stand in the doorway of the room used the most. Look at the furthest wall directly across from them. Have them mentally divide this area into three equal sized area. The middle area is the Fame and Reputation area in Feng Shui. They should put their spikey plant(s) / cactus here. To double down on these efforts, put a succulent in the Fame and Reputation area of many or all rooms.
#8 The Best Candle EVER and it Helps Protect Reputations, Have Courage and Get Deserved Respect
This is my go to gift because EVERYONE loves it. When I give this Frazier Fir candle as a gift, the next year the person I gave it to, is giving it to their friends. It smells divine.
Candles are great for helping people have courage, be respected and protect (or improve) their reputation when placed in the Fame and Reputation area of a room(s). (Directions on how to find this area are below.) I think the Frazier Fir candle smells best in the tin can. They also have them in glass.
P.s. This candle is especially good for helping with reputation, respect and courage because the primary element associated with the the Fame and Reputation area is fire. Further, the element that supports the Fame and Reputation area is wood. This candle has tree symbols on the outside and smells of a delightful evergreen. The fire and wood element make it double good for helping people with their reputation, fame, respect and courage.
To locate the Fame and Reputation area, stand in the doorway of the room they use the most. Look at the furthest wall directly across from you. Mentally divide this area into three equal sized area. The middle area is the Fame and Reputation area.
Feng Shui with this book is incredibly easy. Kids learn to do it in minutes and adults love both the simplicity of it and how successful they are with it. Plus it is super cute (especially the spiral version). Available in the special full-color spiral bound version and as a paperback on Amazon.
