I didn’t mean to learn Feng Shui. I was simply looking for something for my mom and I to do – in February – in Denver – 10 years ago. There is a small school here that holds community classes on anything from Basic Bridge, How to Master Small Talk, The Basics of Electricity and amongst other quite random topics – Feng Shui.
I signed my mom and I up.
Her response to me doing this I would register somewhere around – luke warm. But it was February. And we went. And we both agreed – it was awesome.
It was here we learned that we could move a few things around our house and donate, recycle or toss some others and just by doing this – we could change the energy of our house which could change the energy of our lives.
In other words, with nominal reorganization and not a whole lot of need to buy anything else, my house could do a lot of the leg work for me in attracting more love, marriage, more money, a better job, better health, creativity, new skills, people to help me out, more travel, support in making my wishes come true, a happier family and a better reputation. So why the hell would I not do that?
I finished the class and got started. I Feng Shui’d my cube at work, went out that night, ran into my old boss and got a job a few months later with a $20,000 raise. I Feng Shui’d my house for travel and got a job in Amsterdam. I Feng Shui’d a friend’s house for money and within a few weeks her husband got a bonus he had never received before and did not expect. I Feng Shui’d another friend’s house for love, and a month or so later she met the man she would eventually marry. I went on a vacation, met a man I fell in love with, thought I would never see him again, Feng Shui’d my house for a relationship with him – and we are now married.
I have shared what I know about Feng Shui with countless friends and family members and I find – it just makes people happy, it can make their lives better, their homes happier and I want to share this happy houseness, this happier lifeness with more people. This is how Happy House Feng Shui was born.
