Most folks want to use Feng Shui to attract or keep love, but if you want to get rid of it or a certain someone – Feng Shui is here to help – send him packing.
1. Get a smaller bed or bigger bed
For those who want to attract love or keep it, Feng Shui will tell you to have a double or queen bed. If you are single, having a double or queen sized bed symbolizes you have space for someone else to join you. If you are in a relationship and have a king sized bed, this is symbolic of there being too much space between the two of you. With that said, if you are trying to oust the dude without having to do the dirty work yourself, get a smaller bed to symbolically say, “no room for you here” or get a much bigger bed to symbolically let him know (without having to say it of course), “we need some space”.
2. Have only one night stand
When wanting to welcome or keep a relationship in your life, it is good to offer that relationship the same things you have – this is especially important in the bedroom. Well Feng Shui’d bedrooms have identical things in twos: two identical night stands, two identical lamps, two identical decorative pillows, etc. If you are trying to get the guy to bugger off, have only need one night stand and one light.
3. Put symbols, photos or reminders of water in your bedroom
Water in the bedroom is a no-no in Feng Shui. It symbolically “douses” the passion of a relationship. This, however, can be especially handy if you are trying to do just that. Put photos of the beach in your bedroom or other photos of water (extra credit if you are in that photo alone). Also in Feng Shui, undulating shapes (think cloud shapes) are symbolic of water as are dark blues and black – so feel free to add those as well.
4. Put “single” objects in your bedroom and in the far right corner of the room you use the most
Feng Shui always recommends for people interested in having or keeping love to have identical objects in twos around their house especially in the bedroom and in the far right corner or the room or rooms they use the most. Identical objects could be two of the same flower vases, or the same sized picture frames, or two of the same knick knacks or pieces of art or sculpture. If you are longing to be single or just a way from your bozo of a boyfriend, make sure you have single things in your bedroom, in the far right corner of the room (or rooms) you use the most and throughout your house.
P.s. To make extra sure you are putting your “single” things in the right corner, go to the room you use the most and stand in the doorway facing in the room. Point to the farthest right corner. This is your Love & Marriage corner for this room. Add these single things in as many or as few rooms in your home as you would like.
5. Remove photos of him from your bedroom
If you want him out of your bedroom – get him out of your bedroom – and remove all of his photos.
6. Push his side of the bed up against a wall
Similar to having identical nightstands and lamps, well Feng Shui’d bedrooms have equal access to both sides of the bed. HOWEVER, if you don’t want a good relationship, or a relationship at all, push his side of the bed up against the wall and hopefully doing so, you will just push him right out of your life.
7. Add “cold” feeling things in the Love & Marriage area in the rooms you use the most
As water douses love in Feng Shui, adding chilly feeling things helps “cool off” relationships. Trying to get out of a relationship pronto? Go to the room you use the most and stand in the doorway facing in the room. Point to the farthest right corner. This is your Love & Marriage corner for this room. Put your wine fridge here, a big picture of an iceberg or your snowglobe with the snowman inside.
