There are loads of Feng Shui tips to do everything from helping you attract “the one”, to get more money, to landing a better job, improve your health, deal with annoying AF family members and more.
Sometimes it is hard to remember what you are supposed to do or you end up feeling the need to perpetually consult Google to get it right. For this reason, I wanted to share a Feng Shui tip with you that is crazy easy to remember and could go a long way attracting what you do want and getting rid of what you don’t.
Ready?
Look at the way you describe what is irking you.
For example, do you feel alone or worry you will always be single? If so, then carefully (very carefully) look around your house for “single” objects – such as art or photos of people by themselves, candles by themselves, couches with one pillow etc. Once you find them, put them in a pair. Meaning get two pillows, two candles, take down the “single” art or give it a pair.
If you feel as if something is always coming between you and your relationship, look carefully, and I will say again – very carefully – for things in threes. Such as three candles, three knick knacks on the table, art in threes along the wall etc. Then, put those things in pairs and relocate, donate, sell, recycle or toss the now removed third wheel.
Here is a list of some common complaints people have to give you ideas on what to do and how to look around your home. Once you find these issues – fix them!
- The General Feeling of Being Stuck – Look for drains that are slow to “drain”, doors that stick, clutter that isn’t allow you to move freely, etc.
- Always Feeling Like Something is Hanging Over You – Look for shelves, heavy art, hanging pots and pans etc. that are quite literally, “hanging over you”. It is especially important to look at what is hanging over you while you sleep.
- Feeling Underwater (Financially or Otherwise) – Look for where there are photos, symbols or actual water above you.
- Feeling as if Your Life is Constantly Up & Down – Look for photos, images, art, etc. that are up and down, upside down, in the wrong logical order (e.g. having a fish above a plane or a car in a tree), or for photos that run up and down the wall by a staircase.
- Worried Your Child Will Never Grow Up – Look for excessive photos or reminders of them when they were young around your home.
- Feeling Like You are Never Seen – Take a good look at your front door and determine if it is easily “seen” from the street.
- Always Feeling Down – Look for downward moving or looking artwork, photos and/or symbols in your house.
- Feeling Like Your Relationships Always Involve Games – Look for games around your house – especially in your bedroom and dining room.
- Feeling Like You Can’t Get Someone Off Your Back – Look for where reminders of them are behind you.
- Feeling Like Things Are Always Sneaking Up on You – Look at where you sit in the living room, at your desk, where you sleep and while you eat and determine if you can clearly see, from these positions, the door of the room.
Get the idea?
Feng Shui is all about what is happening in your house — is also what is happening in your life. SO – look at what is happening in your life, find where that is happening in your house – and fix it!
