A fact – we all believe in a certain system of organization for our homes and buildings.
For example, you don’t have to walk through the men’s bathroom to buy your morning latte, the front door of your home does not open into a closet and your toilet (just guessing here) is not installed in the middle of your kitchen.
These rules or systems of organization are based on social decorum, architecture, design and well, common sense.
Feng Shui has a system of organization as well – and luckily this system fits quite conveniently, even intuitively, with the already established every day design and architecture “rules”.
However, Feng Shui, unlike the more known architecture and design rules, is based on energy flow.
The idea is that energy has a natural way of flowing through a space. If you can arrange your belongings in a way that the energy does not move too slow or too fast – then this energy can attract all kinds of good things to your life.
In other words, the only work you do is add, remove or incorporate a few items in specific areas of your home and then Feng Shui brings money, love and all kinds of other wonderfulness into your life. In other words (again), you move the picture of Aunt Edna and toss the sweatshirt with the spaghetti stain on the front and Feng Shui brings more money, love and happiness into your life. Not a bad trade off, ay?
